We are a sports bra and activewear brand that uses the semi-natural fiber, Tencel, to construct our garments. Our mission is to create sustainable sports bras and lifestyle accessories that are beautiful, comfortable and inspire movement. 

Why shyAktive?

‘shyAktive’ stands for modest activity and general well-being. The word ‘shy’ does not have a negative connotation here but rather represents an inner confidence and integrity. ‘Aktive’ is a take on ‘active’ and conveys the value we place on movement and daily activity.

We believe in living in the moment and working towards your own goals in an authentic, positive, and measured way. Our brand name represents the notion of having inner strength and confidence through movement and exercise. Our vision is to help promote that.

Concept of the Yak 

The yak is an important symbol of our brand - it represents purity, strength and courage. The Yak is also a symbol of spiritual energy and steady progress – this very much is in line with our ethos, as well as that of slow fashion. ShyAktive encourages each of us to live our own life and discover your own journey… You do not have to be the best, just the best version of yourself! Keep active and remember the Yak!
