shyAktive was born out of a passion for movement, better health and good design.
We bridge the gap between sports bras and the use of natural fibres. With only a small amount of spandex, our bras are designed to feel both comfortable and beautiful whilst allowing support and performance.
Inspired by the natural environment, shyAktive encourages us to stay active every day. We proudly support ethical production.

Our Process
shyAktive bras are currently manufactured in Seminyak Bali.
Production is handled in-house at a small boutique studio. Since empowering women is at the core of the studio’s work practices, the sewists are allowed to work from home in certain situations.
shyAktive garments are made using sustainable fabric sourcing and construction methods.
The use of natural dyes is a unique feature of the garments. These dyes are plant-based, and the colour range is earthy in tone. The dyes are also treated with a mordant, which is a protective layer to protect the colour when washed and cared for.
At the heart of production is slow fashion and ethical processes.
